As a real estate agent, it’s common for homes to need the roof replaced prior to closing escrow. I had a house listed in Belton that had an older, sad-looking roof — but the inside had been completely redone. Many of the people who viewed the home voiced concerns about the roof. Unfortunately, my clients didn’t have the finances to replace their roof. Nolan contacted me from my sign in the yard and asked if he could inspect the roof. Nolan explained there had been recent qualifying storm damage in the area, and it was possible the roof could be replaced through the homeowner’s insurance. Sure enough, the roof had hail damage and needed replacement. Christina (main office) worked her magic along with Nolan, and they were able to get the roof replacement covered by the insurance. Nick came out and watched over the install, making sure things went smoothly. My sellers ended up with a gorgeous brand new roof courtesy of the insurance claim — which made their house far more marketable AND allowed a huge improvement they couldn’t have afforded otherwise. This situation was a win for everyone!
